Physics or Electrical Engineering
We are looking for a Patent Attorney Trainee (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible, with a technical background in physics or electrical engineering. Knowledge of computer science, computer-implemented inventions (CII), software or artificial intelligence (AI) is an advantage.
KRAMER BARSKE SCHMIDTCHEN is an established Munich patent law firm with an international client base. We handle demanding national and international IP rights proceedings and advise our clients comprehensively in the field of intellectual property law.
With us, you can expect closely supervised and practice-oriented training for the profession of patent attorney. As a personally managed firm with around 20 employees, we offer short communication channels and direct cooperation with experienced patent attorneys and partners. You will be involved in mandates at an early stage and you will get to know the full breadth of patent attorney work: from drafting and filing patent applications, through prosecuting them in examination proceedings to grant, to opposition, appeal and other contentious proceedings. You will work in various technical fields and for different clients, each with their own requirements.
We are looking for a personality with very good technical understanding, precise language skills and a talent for clear argumentation. You should be curious, committed and motivated to work intensively on new technical and legal issues. We require very good German and English skills.
